Maranatha Assembly of God

One of our first clients, Maranatha Assembly of God is a church of 1500 or so in Forest Lake, MN that loves motorcycles, racing, hunting, being active in the community, helping others and anything but church as usual.

The Problem

The church had an old yet sound, functioning website that had not been updated in some time.  The church staff wanted to create a website with us that allowed easy communication between volunteers, members, visitors and staff. They asked specifically for the ability to update the website themselves: something not doable with the current website.

• Needs more community interaction.

The Solution

With supplied artwork and logos, we came up with a design they liked.  We also implemented a customized version of MODx and open source web application.  With this software, we were able to give them tight control over content and distribute content editing capabilities to volunteer and paid staff.  Rarely does a day go by that the website is not updated by someone somewhere, and as they continue to grow, we continue to help them along the way.

• Installed and setup MODx for staff and volunteer updates.
