Pine Technical College

Pine Tech is a college website we have recently completed that shows off a lot of our behind the scenes coding skills.  What's so important about the site is what you don't see, even though what you do see is gorgeous.

Since it's a college website, it needs a lot of search functionality.  We did a lot of work in making their search bar work smoothly. Give it a try; the search is quick and to the point.

The other big endeavor we took was tagging every single one of their courses.  This means that if a course is for accounting, it has a special accounting attribute attached to it.  When you pull up the Accounting page all the courses that they say belong to accounting will pull up.  If they ever need to add a course, all they need to do is make that tag, and our system will do the magic of automatically adding it to the Accounting page.  They currently have 350+ courses.  As you can imagine, this is quite helpful.  This system would work great for blogs: you make a new one and say what categories it fits.

Pine Tech has been our biggest project to date boasting over 900 individual pages and tons of behind the scenes goodies to make life better once it's in your hands.
