MODx is a Content Management Framework - It allows anyone with some skill and some time to build about any website they can think of. The system also allows less skilled individuals to keep complex websites up to date and even add new pages or sections. Nearly all of our websites, including this one, are built on MODx.
We have been using MODx since the beginning, and have become active members in the community. We know the system well and have worked with some of the founding MODx Team members.
MODx can be used for:
- Blogs with comments (moderated)
- Church Websites
- Business Websites
- Sports Team websites
- Realty Websites
- Family Websites
- Photography Websites
- Portfolio Websites
MODx is not necessarily the best choice for a pure Ecommerce website, it can do it, but if you want to sell more than 10 items or so we should look at something else. Like Magento.
